Would you like to learn more about what the Herrington Lake Conservation League does and where it is going? Every April the Herrington Lake Conservation League holds a public meeting to review the plans and progress of the League. And this year we are celebrating our fifteen years of service to the community.
So we invite each and every one of you to the annual HLCL Town Meeting, April 21, 7:00 PM, at the Burgin Independent School. Our league President will review where we have been and where we are going. We will talk about our cleanup efforts and financial status. We will also discuss the all the exciting events we are planning for this year!
Want to know what is going on with the new Kennedy Mill Bridge? Our guest speaker this year will be Ananias Calvin. Mr. Calvin is the Kentucky Department of Transportation's Project Manager for the new, replacement bridge. He will also be available to answer all your questions about the new construction.
The Herrington Lake Conservation League Board of Directors will be there to listen to all of your comments, concerns and ideas. Marina owners and other service providers will be there to share their products and services. New Conservation League merchandise, featuring a collectible poster commemorating our 15 years will be available.
And speaking of 15 years we will be serving birthday cake!
So come and help us celebrate, find out what we can do for you, and find out how you can help!
We will see you in Burgin April 21. Meet your neighbors and find out more about some of the services provided in the area to make your lake living easier and more fun!
