1776 Auditions

“1776” (a Tony Award winner for Best Musical) will be directed by Allan Barlow (RECT’s Managing Director) with Bethany Fuller as Music Director. Joining their veteran production team will be Ami Wilcox as Choreographer and Molly Pryse as Stage Manager.

Roles are available for 22 men of all ages, 2 teenage boys, and two women (one aged 20’s – 30’s and one 40+). Please prepare 16 bars (one verse and one chorus) of any song that shows your voice to its best advantage. You may bring sheet music or a prerecorded accompanist track (karaoke) which we will play through the theatre’s sound system. (No acapella auditions, please). We will be reading from the script so no prepared monologue will be necessary.

AUDITION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE TO BE COMPLETED ON THE RECT WEBSITE raggededgetheatre.org. THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING AN AUDITION FOR WILL BE FRIDAY, MARCH 8 at 6pm.
