Night Hike: Perseids

The night sky and the cosmos have been a source of inspiration and amazement throughout human history. Join us for an evening at Pleasant Hill and explore the starry sky! On this gentle hike through the Preserve, take in the wonders of the prairie and forest at night while discovering some of the mysteries and curiosities of the universe. Along the way, we will observe constellations and learn about comets, meteors, and shooting stars. After the hike, spread out a quilt and take in the Perseids meteor shower! The fee for this night hike is included with your general admission ticket, paid onsite at the Welcome Center. RSVPs (below) are highly recommended! All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
